and now a Lowell game that made me happy.

Lowell did something I did not see coming tonight. They came from behind, and won their game against the Providence Bruins, 4-3.

Bruins score at 4:41 and 9:46 to take the lead early in the game, only to have Chris Minard score his 28th of the season (from Dan McGillis) at 14:45 to cut the lead in half. 3:25 later, Mike Mottau scored his first goal of the season, from Grand Marshall and Ryan Murphy. The Bruins took the lead again at 9:48, but didn't hold on to it for too long. Marshall got his 8th from Murphy and Tuomas Pihlman. 5:26 into the 3rd, David Clarkson scored the final goal of the game, with Minatd and McGillis picking up the assists.

The Devils were 2/3 on the power play (Mottau and Clarkson), and Jordan Parise has 42 saves in their 36th victory of the year. The Devils currently have 83 points, and sit only 1 point out of fourth and 2 out of third. But we have a game at hand on the Sharks (3rd place), so hopefully we can do something about our lack of a play off postion.

Anyway..I have some good news, and some bad news. The good news? The penguimps lost their game against the laughs today. The bad news? It went into OT, so they still earned a point. More good news? Montreal won tonight, which kept the laughs out of the playoffs, ever though they won, and we have a game at hand on the pitts, so we can-no, will, take out rightful place, which is 1st in the Atlantic, after we win tomorrow.
